Country Hills, established in 1990, is a residential neighbourhood in the north-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, close to the airport. Country Hills also features a new community, the Country Hills Village, located in the north-east part of the neighbourhood.

It is bounded to the north by the Country Hills Boulevard, to the south by Beddington Trail, and to the east by Harvest Hills Boulevard. To the south-west, it is bordered by the Country Hills golf course and the West Nose Creek.

Homes & Real Estate
The community is newly built, with more than 850 houses completed since 1991. Most of them are single-family homes, built by Broadview, Carolina, Crossley, Stepper, and Sterling. Around 9.5% of the buildings are condominiums or apartments, and 6.8% of the housing is leased out. All in all, it is considered a haven not only for first-time home buyers, but also for investors and high-end renters. If you are considering buying a home, there are some well-priced starter homes in this neighbourhood.

It offers an endless variety of structured and unstructured health and lifestyle opportunities for individuals, and yearly preschool classes for children three to five years of age, from September to June, at modest prices. Registration is ongoing throughout the year based on availability. Cardel Place, operated by the Nose Creek Sports and Recreation Committee, includes 2 skating rinks, 3 gymnasiums, an aquatic complex, a climbing wall, and a workout area. It also houses a branch of the Calgary Public Library.
• Country Hills Golf Club, 1334 Country Hills Blvd NW, (403) 226-7777. The club boasts two elaborate 18-hole championship golf courses, which make it unique within Calgary’s city limits. The Talons Course was designed by award-winning course architect Tom McBroom and offers five sets of tees, ranging from 5,219 to 7,209 yards. The Ridge Course, designed by course architect Dave Bennett of Texas, measures 5,213 yards from the forward tees and 6,637 from the tips.
